My Tax Dollars at Work...
Nice to know that my hard earned tax dollars that I am forced to give to the government.. are being put to good use by these poor Katrina victims...

Nice, huh? I'm not even mad, it just makes me sad that people can be that irresponsible in a time like this. Err.
Its reasons like this, why I won't feel bad about not participating in the "Katrina" jeans day fundraiser this Friday...
Dude, you can't trust the government to spend money and give out money wisely. That is why you donate money to private charaties. Those private, non-profit groups kick a$$ and know how to divy out money.
If you had $100 bucks, who would spend that better.. you, or the government? :-) It's a no brainer.
I agree with Dorf man, don't give in to the propaganda. Give the money to a private charity and wear jeans already.
Hopefully, someone will mug them for the purse, or some other Karmic act will occur.
At least we can hope so.
